Drums are the heartbeat and pulse of any band or musical ensemble. Learn different styles of beats and fills and learn to play in the pocket. Creativity is big at Quincy Academy of Music & Media. We will teach you to create your own style, beats and fills.

We ourselves were in the Quincy Public Schools band system as percussionists. Those years were great fun, taking school band trips and playing in the marching, pep and concert bands. We experienced playing music with others and itinfluenced our drumming and playing with local bands. At Quincy Academy of Music & Media, we will teach you bells, snare drum, basic rudiments and much more.
